Literature Text
They told me that God reigned high
And taught me his rules and story
So that on the day that I die
I could live up there in his glory
But I hear the voices all around
That what I learned was just a lie
No glory of God can be found
And my faith is bound to die
Now I've seen a mother's warmth to her son
Protecting him from all around
And men who live like we are one
Even though they sleep on the ground
I've seen people give all they have
So a stranger's life may be free
And if we all go down this path
Life is better, you will see
So if we all give into this love
And live life for all its worth
Then I don't need a god above
Because his light is here on earth
And taught me his rules and story
So that on the day that I die
I could live up there in his glory
But I hear the voices all around
That what I learned was just a lie
No glory of God can be found
And my faith is bound to die
Now I've seen a mother's warmth to her son
Protecting him from all around
And men who live like we are one
Even though they sleep on the ground

Being the edgy person that he was, he had politely declined their offer of buying a disguise for him. He had never celebrated the holiday, and instead purchased a t-shirt that furthered his rebelliousness with bright yellow text that read, 'I don't do costumes.'
His head down and his hands in his pockets, he paced himself up the paved hill

Yeeess!!! This morning I'm a winning girl, and for more than one reason:
N.1: I found the only place in the house where the cell phone works and can be used as a hotspot for my laptop, specifically the bench under the east bedroom’s window; so that’s why I can finally write to you.
Now imagine me here, perched cross-legged (and with an integrated cat), as my gaze runs through the garden, which, in early September, is already in its way to the autumn. If there was a score in lugubriousness, fallow gardens of inherited houses, moreover if infested with crows, wo

lovely piece, i am an Atheist myself so i pretty much believe we are our own light, we don't need some invisible man above to tell us what to do. A man is a master of himself.
one little thing though, i believe you meant reigned not reined in the first verse
